Terms and Conditions.
Thank you for choosing to stay at Goodleigh Hill Certificated Location (CL). We hope you enjoy your stay. Please find the following terms and conditions applicable to our site as of 17 April 2024. These expressly amend and delete as necessary all previous terms and conditions:
Your agreement is with Goodleigh Hill CL and its owners. References to 'we', 'us' and 'our' are in reference to Goodleigh Hill CL and its owners. References to 'you' are in regards to you, the person making the booking and every member of your party.
You must be a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club to stay at Goodleigh Hill CL.
We are an adult only site. Guests must be also aged 16 or over.
Pitch fees are final and as advertised at the time of booking on our online booking portal on our website. Please note that on public holidays and peak times, our prices are subject to change.
To confirm your booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost.
Any bookings unable to be made online will not be secured until a deposit, payable by bank transfer or Stripe card payment (subject to 2.5% fee), is paid within three days of booking and is acknowledged by email.
The balance of your pitch fee (if not already paid in full) is payable 21-days before arrival by bank transfer or Stripe card payment (subject to a 2.5% fee).
All electricity used is chargeable at cost price. You agree to record the meter reading of your pitch upon arrival and pay for all kwh/units that you have consumed during your stay upon departure at the current cost price of 35p per kwh.
Arrival is from 12-noon onwards and we ask you to vacate the site by 11am on day of departure to ensure no two vehicles meet at the entrance gate.
We will do our best, where possible, to accommodate early or late arrivals, but as a courtesy, we ask you to please do let us know if you are running ahead of schedule.
We do not charge for one extra car or for tow cars or trailers behind motorhomes, for awnings, dogs or day visitors if they are able to be accommodated within the confines of your pitch and we do like to know what to expect so please let us know well in advance of what vehicles you are bringing with you and if any visitors.
Please provide names of any visitors, their car make and colour and registration number well in advance of their arrival.
We welcome dogs but ask that you notify us before booking if you have more than two dogs. You agree to keep your dog under close control at all times and pick up after your dog.
Awnings must be pitched on your hardstanding pitch and not on the grass.
While we endeavour to situate friends on adjacent pitches or to uphold pitch requests, this is not always feasible.
We can dispose of everyday rubbish, but ask guests to not leave large bulky items such as broken furniture or large cardboard packaging. We will ask you to take them home.
Guests are kindly requested to dispose of recyclable objects, please rinse them first, in the green, recycling bins and not in the black, landfill bin. Such recyclable items comprise cardboard, newspapers, glass, tin cans, metal bottle lids, recyclable plastic containers, aerosol cans.
Our water is metered. Please do not wash your unit.
Please ask us if you wish to use a drone.
We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any person or terminate the visit of any person whose conduct we feel is detrimental to us or to our other visitors.
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage, however caused, to your property or vehicles, or any injury to you or your visitors whilst staying at our CL.
CANCELLATION POLICY
By making a booking and paying your deposit you signify your agreement with our refund policy below:
We do not refund deposits. They protect against the owners' losses from last minute cancellations and changes of booking when they have hitherto honoured a reservation and foregone other bookings. We advise that you take out insurance to ensure that, should you need to change or cancel your holiday, you can recover the associated costs from your insurance provider.
Optional booking protection from XCover: as of 1 January 2025, through our booking software providers Innstyle, there is the option for guests to pay an additional fee for XCover booking protection insurance, whereby guests can cancel their booking and receive a refund under certain unforeseen circumstances. Guests expressly agree to the XCover protection as an additional option during the booking process on our website at GoodleighHll.co.uk/booking. The booking protection insurance agreement is strictly between the guest and XCover and all subsequent enquiries need to be made directly to XCover.
25. In the event of a booking reduction, due to late arrival or early departure, no refund for nights cancelled/not used will be given.
26. If we have to cancel your booking prior to your arrival, we will refund in full.
27. Events such as vehicle breakdown, illness or inclement weather which may result in delayed arrival or cancellation of your stay are not the responsibility of Goodleigh Hill CL and therefore we advise you to seek appropriate travel insurance.
28. Your booking is only cancelled once you have received a confirmation of cancellation email from us. If you leave a voicemail or email or text message to cancel and do not receive confirmation in reply within 48-hours, please contact us again as we have not received your message and you may still be liable for payment.
29. No refund is available for any unused services provided in the cost of your holiday, eg, if you choose to leave early.
